Saint John Paul II College operates a Day and Boarding system of education. The boarding setting has a mission to create a safe, caring and a guided-study environment where students can grow and develop a lifelong self-confidence through quality and holistic education.

There are four houses in the College. The houses and their colours are as follows:

Dr Nnamdi Benjamin Azikiwe House              –           Red

Alhaji Sir Ahmadu Bello House                       –           Yellow

Chief Obafemi Oyeniyi Awolowo House        –           Blue

Chief (Dr) Ibanga Udo Akpabio House            –           Green

Our rooms are big and conducive, providing each student with enough space that guarantees maximum comfort. All our rooms are cross ventilated and air conditioned; all furniture, ranging from the bed, age suited indoor study desk, wardrobe set and curtains are excellent in quality.

Currently, there are two distinct hostel blocks in the College, one for boys (St Joseph’s Hostel) and one for girls (St Mary’s Hostel). The position of the hostel buildings clearly defines a system that is dedicated to her moto – “Nurturing to Greatness.” Our hostel setting is a unique edifice. It is a masterpiece structurally constructed for easy access to the refectory, a “home feeling” lounge, a magnificent gamescourt and the Sports arena. The dining hall is able to accommodate all boarders and provides a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for students to have their meal and socialize.
